Maka Ufa(Aisea). I was talking about the method of using the Au. I never said other polynesians didn’t get tattoos and the CULTURE & PRACTICE of the Pe’a and the Malu will always be alive as long as there are Samoans. So number tasi you’re off topic and number lua you need to learn how to read comments.
Props In Your Face!
First, Aisea is Tongan Hawaiian. Second he was trained by a samoan tattoo master tufunga and was given the suluape title of tufunga. Third, this practice was done by polynesians, not just samoans. Check the libraries, there are pictures that can prove this. A few drawings from the 1890’s. Fourth, atleast he found enough strength and wisdom to keep the CULTURE and PRACTICE alive in todays society.
What the hell Samoans came up with this method of tattooing. And how the hell how are you going to get a pe’a when you’re Hawaiian, you have to be the son of a cheif.
